Finn Niklas Nitz is an attorney and adviser on the subject of digitalisation and the law. His areas of competence lie in IT, competition, trademark, crypto and copyright law.
Through continuous training and close exchange with IT companies, Finn Niklas Nitz steadily expands his expertise. This includes, in particular, anticipating new technologies and digital trends, so that tomorrow's solutions can be developed for clients today.
Mr Nitz studied law at Kiel University and at Radboud University Nijmegen (Netherlands). After successfully passing the First State Examination, he completed his legal clerkship (Referendariat) at the Higher Regional Court (OLG) of Schleswig-Holstein, with placements at the public broadcaster NDR and at commercial law firms in Hamburg.
After passing the Second State Examination, Finn Niklas Nitz was admitted to the bar in Hamburg and began his career at an internationally oriented commercial law firm in Hamburg in the field of IT and competition law. There, he primarily advised medium-sized companies, providing them with optimal legal support for their transition into the digital age.
Mr Nitz has been part of the SBS LEGAL team since January 2022.
