Expertise and activities

Florian Hayko advises and represents clients throughout Germany on all legal and strategic matters relating to commercial and corporate law. A particular focus of his work lies in corporate law, tax law and compliance.

Career

Florian Hayko completed his training as a bank clerk (Bankkaufmann) at Hamburger Sparkasse in 1996. He then studied law, passing the First State Examination and obtaining the Baccalaureus Juris.

During his legal clerkship (Referendariat), he gained experience at, among other places, the Hamburg Tax Authority (Finanzbehörde Hamburg, Procurement and Expropriation Chamber). After successfully passing the Second State Examination, he was admitted to the bar in 2010.

From 2010 to 2020, Mr Hayko worked as a self-employed attorney in Norderstedt, specialising in contract, corporate and insolvency law. In this context, he successfully completed the qualification as a Specialist Attorney for Commercial and Corporate Law (Fachanwalt für Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht) in 2011. In addition, Mr Hayko held corporate governance positions as an interim managing director (Notgeschäftsführer) and served as a member of supervisory boards.

Since January 2021, Florian Hayko has worked for SBS LEGAL as an attorney and Compliance Officer. He completed his qualification as a Compliance Officer through the Beck-Akademie training programme.
