Attorney Braun advises companies and founders in all areas of industrial property rights, in particular in disputes relating to competition law, in and out of court.
One focus point of his activity is on food and cosmetics law. Moritz Braun supports his clients in product development in this field, strategic considerations relating to distribution, know-how and all matters relating to advertising. Attorney Braun has extensive experience in crisis management and represents his clients Europe-wide against competitors, supervisory and law enforcement authorities.
Moritz Braun studied law at the University of Konstanz and transferred after completion of basic studies to Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich where he took the first law state examination.
In the beginning of his legal training already, he set the cornerstone for his later work in the field of industrial property. Accordingly, during his studies, he was a work-study assistant of the professorship for commercial law and intellectual property at Technical University of Munich and at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC), an internationally oriented Master’s degree program that is carried, e.g. by the Max-Planck Institute for Innovative Competition.
As part of the subsequent internship, he worked in Düsseldorf (District Court and prosecutor’s office), Hamburg (boutique IP law firm and Association of Architects) and Dublin (aircraft leasing company).
